widgets and integrations

how widgets work

cards that show live data, not links you have to keep up to date.

a link points at a profile. a widget shows what is on it. your discord status, the game you played last night, the song you just finished: those change on their own, and a widget keeps up without you touching the dashboard.

all of them are in integrations. most need nothing but a username. a few, like discord, need you to connect the account once.

what you can add

  • discord presence
  • discord card
  • github activity
  • roblox
  • stats.fm
  • last.fm
  • minecraft
  • valorant
  • chess.com
  • lichess
  • goodreads
  • discord server
  • soundcloud
  • reactions
  • local time
  • weather

the music player and the shoutbox are not in that list because they are not cards in the stack. the player sits in your card or in a corner, and the shoutbox is a panel that opens from its own button.

order and opacity

widgets stack in the order you set, and you drag them into the order you want. the opacity slider sets how solid their cards look, which is how you keep six widgets from drowning out the rest of your page.

when a service is down

widgets fetch from someone else's api. if that api is slow or down, the widget says so quietly instead of breaking your page, and comes back on its own when the service does.

every widget that links out to your profile on that service can have the link hidden. the data still shows, the pointer to exactly who you are there does not.

still stuck? ask in the discord, someone will know.
