username and aliases

your username is the end of your link, so seized.wtf/yourname. change it in settings. the field tells you as you type whether the name is free.

changing your username breaks every link anyone has already shared. if that matters, keep the old name as an alias before you switch.

aliases

an alias is another username that leads to the same page. people use them to hold a shorter name, to keep an old one working, or to hand out a different name to a different crowd.

more slots can be bought in the shop and they stack on top of whatever your plan gives you.

how an alias behaves

• by default, opening an alias redirects to your main username.
• turn on keeping the alias url and the page stays on the alias instead, so it reads as that name.
• you can show your aliases on your page under your main name, or keep them to yourself.
• any alias can be promoted to your main username later.
