name, bio and tags
the text at the top of your page, and how people find it.
everything here is in profile. none of it is required, and you can leave any field blank if you would rather the page stayed sparse.
the fields
fieldwhat it does
display namethe large name at the top. your username shows underneath it.
bioa short line or two under your name. line breaks are kept.
locationshown as a small label. write it however you like, it is not a map lookup.
pronounsshown next to your name, if you want them there.
if you would rather your bio moved instead of sitting still, the typewriter bio can type it out and cycle through several lines.
tags
tags describe what your page is about, and they are how you show up on discover. pick from the list, or suggest one that is not there yet. suggested tags are checked by staff before they go live, which keeps the list from filling with junk.
your display name is not your url. changing the name here does nothing to your link. see username and aliases for that.
still stuck? ask in the discord, someone will know.
